Would Nuclear Adenosine Stress Test Interfere with Dexascan?11/28/2007 |
Yesterday I had a Nuclear Adenosine Stress Test and was told that the radiactive medication would take 30 days to clear my body. I was even given a letter so I could fly on commercial aircraft. I am due for a dexascan. Should I wait 30 days to schedule a dexascan or will the radioactive element in my body not be a problem if I have it done sooner than 30 days. Same question for a mammogram if you are knowledgeable in that area also. Thanks for any information you can offer.
I would recommend waiting the 30 days for both tests.
