Numbess in my big toe01/15/2008 |
I have been having numbness and pain in my big toe on my right foot for several months now.But I can take a needle and gently press on the bottom and top of my toe and I can feel the needle when I press down.At times my toe appears to be ice cold but the toe is warm when I touch it.Could this be caused by maybe a spider bite or some other insect bite?Or is this a circulation problem? Thank You.
The symptoms you describe could be caused by a number of things, poor circulation being one of them. An insect bite would most likely not be causing these symptoms several months later. It may also be something as simple as a tight shoe. I would recommend an examination by your podiatrist or foot care specialist to determine the cause and recommend a therapy.
