Myasthenia Gravis

OMEGA-3`s

01/29/2008

Question:

Are omega-3`s good for people with MG? Thanks for your help.

Answer:

I have found no reports of worsening of myasthenia gravis with omega 3 fatty acids (aka fish oils). I also know of no special benefit from omega 3 fatty acids in myasthenia, but they have been very helpful in other disease, especially heart and cardiovascular disease.
