Tetanus diphtheria booster shot01/25/2008 |
I had a tetanus diphtheria boster shot ten years ago. My arm swelled up and got red all the way down to my elbow. It is almost time to get another one and I am a little afraid to. Is it safe to get another one? Thanks.
There is no foolproof way of predicting reactions to tetanus vaccine. I would suggest that you request a preliminary prick/puncture test before the vaccine is given.
