Gum Diseases

Soft tissue grafts

01/28/2008

Question:

how painful is it

Answer:

It is difficult to estimate the level of pain since it is subjective. Most of our patients have complaints for 2 days or so after surgery, and the site that we take the tissue from is more painful.  They basically compare and find similarity to a pain experienced after one burns his mouth with hot pizza.
