My son is 9 years old. He has is very active in Baseball and plays with a Year Round Team. I noticed he started getting nosebleeds around the same time he started playing baseball. Sometimes he can go 1 week without a nose bleeds and then there are others where he will get them twice a day or every other day. `Til this day, he will even wake me up in the middle of the night to tell me he is about to get one, and he does every time. Is this normal? Could taking vitamins help? Is there anything we can do to help prevent these nosebleeds from happening so often? Please help.
This is not usual. You should take your son to see his family pediatrician, who will then decide on work-up.
