Difficult blood draws02/11/2008 |
I have arthirits in both elbows and they are locked so that I can not straighten either one. This has made it difficult and now impossible to draw blood from my arms. Most recently the lab has not been able to draw from my hands, not sure what to do from here. Where else on the body is available to draw blood from?
Blood can be drawn from the neck, upper arms and even the groin. Certainly the arms are most comfortable though. Hang in there!
