Breast calcification03/11/2008 |
I just had my yearly mammogram on 2/8/2008 and was called to came in for a second due to a calcification found on my left breast. The radiologist suggested that I have a biopsy done. I would like to know if it is possible that I have cancer somewhere else that has possibly spread to my breast. The spot is close to my breast bone.
There is up to an 80% chance that this is not cancer. If it is cancer, it most likely started in your breast rather than spreading from elsewhere.
