Tensilon test -- atypical response02/22/2008 |
Results from a tensilon test are supposed to last just a short time. Mine, however, lasted approximately 40-45 minutes. The doctors refuse to diagnose me with mg since my emg was negative and my response to the tensilon test was atypical. Any clues as to why my reaction lasted so long?
No, I really don't have an idea as to the cause of the unusually long tensilon effect. I can certainly understand your doctor's great care in not wanting to make a diagnosis of MG without very solid evidence.
