Large abnormal bowel movement in my nephew02/26/2008 |
My nephew has very infrequent bowel movements which may take him up to 1/2 hour to pass. They are usually about 4-5 inches in diameter and about 6-8 inches in length. He is undergoing counseling for his previous living situation with his mother and is now living with my brother (his father and his wife). His previous homelife was verbally and mentally abusive. Could this have any bearing on his problem.
The short answer is possibly. It sounds like he needs to be treated for constipation. I would consult with his health care provider.
