Sneezing after colonoscopy02/26/2008 |
I currently have relentless sneezing after a colonoscopy. I had the procedure this morning and I am still sneezing after 8 hours. I have no enviornmental allergies. I am only allergic to PCN. I wonder what could be the cause???
This seems like a short term problem. It is possible that one of the medicines used for sedation during the colonoscopy may have caused some sneezing or a reaction. I would suggest you try and over the counter antihistamine and see your doctor if symptoms continue.
