Perfect health habits?03/13/2008 |
If a person spent their whole life doing everythiing perfect, diet, exercise, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, no junk food, no exposure to chemicals, always wear seatbelts, don`t drink, don`t smoke, etc., what would they die of?Is it possible to live to old age and be healthy right up until you die, or does everybody eventually get sick with something if they live long enough?
The older we get the more possibility for disease or conditions that may arise from our genetic makeup, even if we do everything we can to enhance our health. Also, environment may play a part in making certain people vulnerable to one disease or another. There are also fatal accidents to consider.
There is a theory that proposes human beings are programmed to live a certain amount of time and when that time is up, body systems begin to fail through no fault of our own, but because the body wears out. There are many other theories about biological aging and what causes death.
Your comments about living a as healthy a life style as possible is the ideal.
