hi if i am allergic to pennicillin will I be safe taking amoxicillin?
No, Amoxicillin is a penicillin-like medicine. If you are allergic to penicillin, you should not take any penicillin-like drugs. These are sometimes called Beta-lactams. Always ask you doctor if the medicine has penicillin and tell them you are allergic.
