Is it considered diagnosing when a hygienist charts more than existing restorative. for example cracks, chips abfractions, erosion?
It is the dental hygienist's job to chart existing restorations and anything they see that may need attention. It is their responsibility to review their findings with the dentist, and the dentist does the diagnosing of restorative needs.
