Vein stripping03/18/2008 |
I recently found out that numerous surgical clips were left in one of my legs, from vein stripping, 15 years ago. I was never informed that these clips would be there and am now concerned about having an MR on that leg. Any information?
The clips weren't 'left in'. They were used purposely during the surgery and are intended to stay in. At 15 years this will have no impact on your ability to get an MR. You can have any MR you like.
