Blood donation

04/18/2008

Question:

Is people with small/thin vein not unsuitable for blood donation forever?

Answer:

Blood donation generally requires a vein of adequate size due to the size of the needle used. Interested individuals should speak with one of the RNs at the donation center to assess the size and adequacy of their veins. Good luck!
