Cortisone04/22/2008 |
I had acortosone shot 5 days ago. I now have a RED circle about 1/2 in in diameter aroung the injection spot. Its also very tinder to the touch. Not to mention my sholder is actually more painful than before the shot. Am I having a bad reaction to the cortosone?
It could have hit a nerve; it is not unusual to get a local reaction to injections depending on where they were injected. From these symptoms I believe this is an adverse reaction but not an allergic reaction.
