Does taking showers make the hives worse?
Some forms of hives called physical hives are triggered by physical factors such as heat, exercise, cold, pressure, sunlight...Therefore some patients do get hives or worsening of their hives after taking a hot shower. Interestingly, some people can get hives simply after contact with water which is called "aquagenic hives" but this is very uncommon.
