I am 45. I am still getting my period every 27 to 28 days and it last the normal number of days it always did but the amount of blood flow is much much lighter to the point I hardly need any protection to stay clean. I don`t seem to have any other symptoms. Is this a normal part of the menopause process? My regular exams have all been fine. I don`t take any hormones.
Your description sounds like a normal variation of the menopause transition.
