What are the long term affects of smoking marijuana? Would it be in the best interest of the country yo legalize it? Are there any benefits to using it?
To answer what the long term effects are, please reference the DEA web site on Info Facts on Marijuana. I don't believe it should be legalized. It results in intoxication which leads to decreased reaction times and perceptual distortions. There is nothing marijuana can do that other meds can't do. Its potency is markedly greater than the pot available in the 1970's.
