White spots on gum after tooth pulled05/16/2008 |
Hello. After having one of my wisdom teeth pulled on May 16, 2008, I had developed white spots on the gum where the hole is. What does this mean? Is there anything I could do to get rid of it? Thanks.
So you had the extraction today... Did they place any biomaterial into the extraction socket? Some surgeons like to place biosponges to control bleeding, etc. It may also be debris from what you have eaten since the extraction. It is too early to say. But if you are developing fever, fatigue, etc. and if the pain is not gradually decreasing, you may have exposed bone which may cause healing complications.
