Can I take celebrex if I am allergic to ibuprofen, which closes up my throat if I take it?
I can't answer the question specifically. You should discuss this with the doctor who prescribed the medication. Some people who have reacted to ibuprofen and NSAID medication are able to take medications like Celebrex. However, some are not. There are not any absolute rules. In your case, if you had throat closing or swelling, you should be very careful and discuss this with your doctor or an allergist before going ahead with the new medication.
