Microalbumin/creatinine ratio06/23/2008 |
My result of the microalbumin/creatinine was 3 UG/MG and the letter states that normal is N: <30. I am not sure if my result is within the normal range.
The arrowhead between the N and the 30 indicates that normal is less than 30 - the result does indeed appear to fit within that range so that it appears normal. For some tests, they will give a "normal range" which would be a range between two different numbers, meaning that there is some problem if the number is either too low or too high. In the case of urine albumin/creatinine (or microalbumin), there is only an upper limit of normal, not a lower limit.
