Blood sugar level of a baby of 11 months06/24/2008 |
What is the normal level for a baby of this age and if the baby vomits when the level is from 6. What is the reason and what is too high for a baby? He is having convulsions when even having a piece of chocolate. Please help.
I don't think we have enough information to answer your question. I assume that when you refer to a blood sugar of 6, that you are from outside the United States and that you are talking on a millimolar rather than milligrams per deciliter scale - On a millimolar scale, 6 is a perfectly normal blood sugar. It sounds like your question warrants seeking medical attention, if the baby is having unexplained vomiting.
