Hysterectomy07/09/2008 |
i had a complete hysterectomy 6 months ago, i have not had sex yet, i started bleeding this morning, well spotting, why?
Having a hysterectomy eliminates the chance of bleeding from any uterine or cervical cause. Occasionally, bleeding may still occur from a vaginal or vulvar source, such as a growth, an infection, or an injury. Sometimes, bleeding from the rectum or urinary system can be mistaken for blood from the vagina. If your bleeding is ongoing or is present to a significant degree, you will need an exam to find the cause.
