Undigested Pills in Stool08/04/2008 |
My husband takes Glipizide XL 10mg for type 2 diabetes. Recently he found a whole undigested pill in his stool. What would cause this to happen? Should we be concerned? This is the first time this happened. Any information will be appreciated.
Sometimes your bowels have a fast transit for unknown reasons, but should not be a problem or anything to worry about. If it persists and his sugars are not being well controlled, I would contact your doctor.
