Crumbling teeth

07/08/2008

Question:

what can cause teeth to strat crumbling?

Answer:

Any number of things: -Decay (cavities) -Erosion (can be due to gastric reflux or bulemia) -Poor bite (edges of teeth hit where they shouldn't) -History of radiation therapy -Not enough teeth to chew with (a decreased number of teeth can't do all that work) -Hereditary syndromes (amelogenesis imperfecta, dentinogenesis imperfecta)
