After my routine mammogram radiologist called me for diagnosis mammograms and ultrasound. Lump found 1.5cm in left breast and biopsy also performed and it is negative. I do not have family history. My Dr. asked me come back after six months. My question is that it is advisable to remove it? Or wait for six months?
If the core biopsy was benign (which is what you have said), then the standard of care is to repeat a mammogram and possibly an ultrasound in 6 months.
Excisional biopsy in the operating room is also an option, but usually not necessary.
