Outer elbow pain07/14/2008 |
I play softball and recently, everytime I extend my arm to throw the ball, I experience a shooting pain in the outside of my right elbow. This happens all the time. I have also recently experienced a popping noise in my elbow when I bat. In both instances, I have been experiencing a lot of pain. Is this anything serious?
The pain in the outside of your elbow could be many things, and it is difficult to assess the severity without a physical exam of your elbow. The popping when you bat may be an indication that the injury is getting worse.If the pain is becoming worse or more frequent, you should consider seeing a health care professional.
