Depression & anxiety08/04/2008 |
I feel sure that the menopause has brought on my depression all the women I speak to say that HRT has sorted them out and they feel great I have tried different HRT and it has not helped I just do not understand why it has not helped my mood can you help? I so want to be back to my old self and get on with my life I feel as though I am going round in circuls and nobody can help I am told to put up with the way I feel as there is nothing that can be done.
If your hormone therapy has not improved your depression, you may want to see a counselor. Depression occurs at midlife just as it occurs at any other time of life. It may have just been a coincidence for you that it occurred at your menopause.
