Allergy to titanium08/01/2008 |
i had neck surgery in oct. on c5 and 6 and c 6 and 7 now i have a lump in my throat and it feels like it swells up when it is hot and humied out and like i cant breath i have a titanium plate is it possable i could be allergic to it and if so what can i do for it? i neaver had this proublem until after i had the surgery
Allergy to titanium is extremely rare. I cannot give an opinion about your specific problem but your doctor could refer you to a specialist who can test you for the remote possibility of allergy to titanium.
