Anal fissure post-surgery10/22/2008 |
Hi,I have recently had Surgery to treat an anal fissure after extreme pain for 6 months. The surgery was almost 3 months ago now. The doctor performed interneal lataral sphincterotomy and fissurectomy. Unfortunatly, I had two fissures, and he only corrected one. My question is, if I want to get the other one fixed, would he have to recut the muscle, or is that permanantly relaxed now?
Sphincterotomy should fix both fissures.
