Gynecology

Early period

08/25/2008

Question:

what does it mean if it comes 4 days earlier then my usual period. my fiance and myself are trying to get pregnant for the first time but i was just wondering what does this mean

Answer:

The average time from the first day of your last menstrual period to the first day of your next period should be 28-32 days. If your menstrual cycle is occasionally shorter or longer than this, it is probably normal. If your cycle is often less than 25 days or more than 40 days in length, you should ask your gynecologist about this.
