Is this menopause08/04/2008 |
i went for 11 months without a period then had a couple of periods went another 9 months without a period and have just started another period is this normal or could there be something wrong with me?
The menstrual pattern you describe does happen to some women as they pass through menopause. However, if the period you just had was excessively heavy or you are younger or older than the usual age of menopause, you should consult with your clinician. It is always a good idea to mention changes in your cycle to your clinician.
