Chances?09/05/2008 |
What are the chances of me getting pregnant even though I have had my tubes tied? Can a tubal reverse itself? What are the chances of this happening? Do I need a reversal to become pregnant again?
If you had a tubal ligation, your only options to have another child would be:
1. Tubal reversal (surgically reconnecting the tubes)
OR
2. In vitro fertilization (IVF) (stimulating the ovaries to make extra eggs, removing the eggs from the ovaries, mixing the eggs with your partner's sperm in the lab, transferring 1-2 embryos back into your uterus).
I would suggest meeting with an infertility specialist in your area to determine which procedure might be best for you.
