Mid Pole Cyst09/10/2008 |
I am a 60 year old male with a Mid Pole cyst in my kidney measuring 7mm identified with a renal ultrasound. (Right kidney measures 13 x 5.2 cm. Left kidney measures 13 x 4.2 cm.) Any cause for concern? If so, what types of treatment are recommended.
If the cyst is a simple cyst, there is no cause for concern as these are normal findings. It is important to check with your doctor to ensure that this is a simple cyst of the kidney and does not need further evaluation.
