Closed vagina on a 17 year old10/15/2008 |
I am 17 and I think there is something wrong with my vaginal opening because I am unable to use a tampon. I researched and my only explanation was that it could be a labial adhesion, but that is supposed to go away when a girl begins puberty. What should I do?
The best place to start is with your primary care provider, who can examine you and determine if there is a labial adhesion or some other problem that is interfering with your ability to use a tampon. Depending on what they see, they will be able to give you further advice.
