Allergy to naproxen related10/08/2008 |
to I know I`m allergic with lots of rashes to naproxin. I now us ibuprophen and have lots of itchy, sometimes hot bumps on arms and face,behind my ears too.. Related???/
Both naproxen and ibuprofen are in the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents. Their allergic side effects are similar so it is not unusual that you are experiencing rashes from ibuprofen. You should stop using this medicine and consult your doctor (or allergist) about appropriate alternatives.
