About Being Pregnant
I got married in January of 2007. From December 2007 I have been trying to conceive. However, I can't seem to get pregnant. I consulted my gynecologist in July of 2008. She took some tests, yet all reports were normal. I have thyroid problems. My TSH value is 19.39. From August 16th, 2008 I have been using thyronorm 75mg tablets. My doctor suggested me to use fertyl from the 2nd day of my period until the 7th day. And then from day 8 to day 15 another one. From day 16 to day 25 modus 10. I am to be scanned on the 13th, 15th, and 17th days from my period. I used the tablets, and also went for scanning. On day 14th and 16th days she wrote me a prescription for an injection Pubergen JO. I took injections on 14th & 16th days, but after this process I got period. My periods are regular every month. Is this treatment is correct for me? She said if I didn`t get pregnant I have to consult her on the 2nd day of my period. Today is the second day. So what is your advice? I heard that if I use the medicine more, it will become a big problem.
If you have been attempting pregnancy for greater than 1 year without success, an infertility evaluation would be indicated. This would consist of a semen analysis in your husband, a blood test to see if you are ovulating, as well as a dye test to make sure that your fallopian tubes are open. Treatment usually consists of fertility pills or shots combined with intrauterine insemination (injection of your husband's sperm into your uterus at the time of insemination) or in vitro fertilization (stimulation of your ovaries to make extra eggs, removal of those eggs from you ovary followed by mixing with your husband's sperm, allowing fertilization of the eggs and growth into embryos; approximately 2 embryos would then be injected into your uterus).
For more information about the above tests/treatment, please contact your doctor.
