Cloudy smelly urine10/13/2008 |
Please assist with a possible solution. I drink coffee on a regular basis but, have stopped for about a week, ever since my urine has become cloudy and smelly. There is no pain or discomfort. It does seem to improve when I drink ONLY water. But as soon as I go and drink ANY other liquid the cloudiness and weird smell comes back. What you suggest?Thank you
In general no liquid should cause you to have more urinary problems than others. The symptoms you describe are likely related to an infection. Your medical provider should do urine cultures and if anything other than a routine bacterial organism is found (ie. multiple organisms in large numbers). Then you should be further evaluated by a specialist.
