Since the birth of my last child (now 2) I have had a split period where basically I flow for 2-3 days, stop altogether, then flow for another 2-3 days. I am wondering if this may be a symptom of menopause. I am 37 years old, not on any birth control besides rhythm method, and my cycle remains a very regular 28 days.
The menstrual bleeding pattern you describe is not uncommon, and it is not necessarily associated with menopause.
