Could this be colon cancer10/17/2008 |
I am a 33 year old female. I lost my spleen in a car accident about 11 years ago. Since last year I have had 4 intestinal infections with severe abdominal pain, fever, diahrea and exhaustion. I still frequently get the abdominal pain and exhaustion. I have also had blood in my stool not just on the outside. It appears to be blended in. I have also had some bowel movements with bloody tissue as well as bloody mucus. I have read several things on the internet and the conclusions are anywhere from IBS, IBD, ulcers, cancer. What is the most likely cause?
