Anabolic steroids and epilepsy10/27/2008 |
Can u take anabolic steroids if u have epilepsy? My neurosurgeon said I could, my neurologist also said I could, then said I couldn`t. I think he said that just because he don`t want me to take them. Can I or can`t I take them?
Anabolic steroids have significant long term health effects. Specifically in epilepsy, anabolic steroids are not recommended because they can alter the metabolism of seizure medications.
