Serotol11/12/2008 |
I am trying to find out what Serotol is. It is the main ingredient in a product called "Finally in the mood" which is supposed to be a herbal suppliment.
Serotol is an extract from Zea Mays. Zea Mays is commonly referred to as Corn Silk. People commonly use this for
- inflammation of the bladder, prostate and urethra,
- bedwetting,
- acute chronic inflammation of the urinary system,
- as a diuretic for congestive heart failure,
- treatment of diabetes, and
- hypertension.
It has been shown to be possibly safe when used orally and appropriately in medicinal amounts, but there is insufficient reliable information available about its effectiveness for any of the previously listed uses.
In my research, I do not find any information on the use of Zea Mays in sexual behavior. Ingredients contained in Finally in the Mood:Submitted by Katie Goodwin
- Sunflower Seed Oil,
- Sesame Seed Oil,
- Serotol Extract,
- Proprietary Natural Licorice,
- Mint Flavor, and
- Sucralose.
