I have been previously tested regarding epi and have been hospitalized after receiving epi for a bee sting, dental work, I now wear a medic alert tag. I definately do have a serious reaction to epi. Today the dental issue was with carbocaine... the carbocaine contained mepivacaine to which I was allergic. The episode was not a result of stress, anxiety or being a big baby.it was a result of a clear cut reaction to the medication. I am 61 and generally know what I can or cannot tolerate.
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. Unfortunately, you have not provided enough information for me to be able to provide you with an answer. If you could submit a more specific question, I would be happy to try to answer it.
