Braces

Wearing Invisalign inconsistantly

12/04/2008

Question:

I`ve been wearing Invisalign less than the recommended 20 hours a day. I had also missed many aligners at times.

Now I`m wearing my last set of trays and my mouth looks differnent and unattractive. It seems my teeth has shifted foward and my lower jaw is feeling discomfort. My teeth don`t connect when I bite.

Can braces help my situation?

Answer:

The answer to this question is that you need to see an orthodontist, and yes, it is possible braces would help because Invisalign is not able to correct all orthodontic problems.
