Root Canals

Failed root canal

11/20/2008

Question:

can a failed root canal be caused by a gum desease

Answer:

Generally, in most cases in which a root canal treatment needs to be revised or redone, gum disease is not the cause. However, there are certain situations in which periodontal (gum and bone) disease can play a role.
