Bonded wire retainers vs clear retainers12/01/2008 |
Hello What are the pros and cons of these two processes? I am just about to finish wearing braces and have been given this choice. Do i have to use the clear retainer if i go for the bonded retainer? Which is the best route? Thank you
If the alignment is complete, you would probably want the bonded retainer. If there are still minor corrections needed, then you might consider the clear aligner first to finish the work. You could then go to the bonded retainer. The bonded retainer will not do any last minute corrections. I hope this helps.
