Non-circulation of a finger- Effects12/03/2008 |
I had cut the tip of my finger with a razor and put 3 band aids around index finger tip tightly like a tourniquet so it would stop bleeding. Left it on for approx 30 hrs when I realized my finger was hurting in a different area under bandaid. I could barely touch the finger-so painful. Finger is swollen, feels numb when i touch it and is still very painful. What could have happened and what type of damage could of occurred?
This is typical if there has been a significant cut. You should see your doctor if you have not had a recent tetanus shot.
