Mild Kidney Pain Late at Night12/09/2008 |
I often wake early in the morning with my kidneys hurting. It usually goes away after urinating, but seems to hang around more as I get older. I`m now 52. I`ve had this happen for years didn`t think much of it. If I drink a glass of water before going to bed it will always hit me during the night.
My first thought is that you may have reflux of your urine back up into the kidneys from the bladder. There are several other potential causes and you should see a Urologist who can order a cystogram.
